    Description

    Yocto v1.0 Drum Machine kit (Roland TR-808 Clone). (Last v1.0 "complete" kit on Earth?).
    Make sure you do yourself a favor... and read the entire description.
    For your auction consideration:
    YES!!! Your eyes do not decieve you: This is a "complete" Yocto version 1.0 Drum Machine kit! Version 1.0 has been discontinued, and all of the kits have been built... except this one! Is it the "last unbuilt kit on Earth? I'll let you decide the truth to that statement: You haven't seen another one for sale, have you? You've been wanting to get your hands on one for how long, now? And yet... you haven't seen another one for sale, have you? Obviously, there is probably some music nerd, with one of these in a vaccum sealed bag, stashed in a closet somewhere, so it maintains its museum-fresh condition.... but that nerd is never going to part with a collectors item like that, right!? Well... now you can decide if it is the "last unbuilt kit". It IS the only one you will probably have an opportunity to get your hands on, though... especially with the original Mouser BOM!
    Please note:
    The starting price of this auction is actually below the original cost(s) of all these items "back in the day". (Original v1.0 kit cost 249Euro/3USD. Mouser BOM cost 7USD, plus case cost, plus power supply cost, plus shipping costs. Well... you now get the full ramifications of these numbers: This. Is. A. Deal.)
    This is a 10-day auction, with NO "Buy It Now" option, due to the extremely unique rarity of this item.
    Quick summary of what is included in this "as-is" auction:
    1.) "e-licktronic Yocto v1.0 kit" (kit description can be found on e-licktronic website: http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=417#p2611);
    2.) "complete" Mouser BOM parts, see more details below (Mouser BOM can be found here: https://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=b0800f3b90);
    3.) Jameco power supply;
    4.) Full metal case/enclosure (unknown manufacturer... but it IS the "good case" version, that everyone fawned over).
    Now for those pesky details:
    "Complete" does not mean that every single part is here, though: there are a couple of final aethstetic parts (knob caps), that are up to the next owner to decide upon (there are several types of easily availble knobs to choose from... it's is just a matter of personal preference). Here's a more in-depth description of the above items:
    1.) E-licktronic Yocto v1.0 kit (see photos) includes:
    Both PCBs  (Main board and IO board)
    Atmega1284P pre programmed with Yocto Firmware
    All transistors needed to built the Yocto (19x 2SA733, 54x 2SC945, 2x 2SK30 and one 2sc828R)
    Step sequencer switches ( four of each color red, orange, yellow and white)
    Two clear push button (Start and Shift)
    Rare ICs (1x AN6912, 1x HD14584 and 1x BA6110)
    All potentiometers (not trimmers only potentiometers without caps)
    Germanium diodes (6x 1N34A)
    2.) "Complete" Mouser BOM of all "of the other parts". The original BOM can be found here: (https://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=b0800f3b90). If you scan through the list, you will notice that most of the BOM is no longer available from Mouser (45 of 116 line items are no longer available). When this BOM was purchased, only 1 item was not available, and were sourced with the closest available alternative parts at that time (I may have purchased this replacement part... but it is YOUR responsibility to make sure these alternative parts are compatible/exact/"close-enough" replacements. Better alternative parts may now be available, but that will be left up to the buyer).
    -Line item #113: which was supposed to be Vishay Film Capacitor .0082uF 10% (quantity: 1), has been replaced with a GE .0082uF 100V film capacitor (quantity: 4). This is a larger capacitor sized capacitor, and a smaller alternative may be desired, if available. (see photos for actual replacement parts).
    -All other 115 of 116 line items are complete.
    3.) Jameco 16VAC 1000mA AC Adaptor (Jameco Part Number: 100108; Manufacturer Part Number: ADU160100Z5401) (see photo).
    4.) Full metal enclosure/case (see photos). There were several different case options, varying in quality from 3D printed slop & kindergarten art project level... all the way up to what you are getting: the Lamborghini of all cases. This is the most authentic TR-808 looking case that was available (see photos).
    All of these items were purchased new, and are still in that condition, but are being sold "as-is" due to it being a kit, with so many different parts/pieces. Please be sure to ask all questions beforehand, as returns will not be excepted.
    And just to reiterate what IS NOT included:
    -All of the rotary knob caps (AKA: the orange volume knob caps, white decay/tuning knob caps, and the larger black selection/tempo/volume knob caps as were on the original Roland TR-808.) As mentioned: there are many easily available options, depending on how "authentic" you want to build this kit.
    -any sort of guarantee of functionality... as that is soley the responsibility of the buyer, and depends on the buyer's kit building abilities. I am providing a well defined list of items. That is all.
    Important notes on shipping: this is ONLY available for shipping, within the continental United States. Please re-read that statement, as many times as necessary, if you decide to ask any questions about shipping it elsewhere.
    Also: the flat-rate shipping quote is intentionally high, as it is an estimate. Shipping prices have been drastically different, since the begining of COVID. If actual shipping rates is less, the difference will be refunded (minus any "return fees").
    VERY IMPORTANT: This auction is scheduled to end on Labor Day evening... so don't party hard, and forget to bid!
    If you have an questions, or want additional photos, please ask!!!
    Thank you!

    Questions & Answers from sellers already:
    1.) Q: "Can you ship this internationally, to (insert your country)?"
    1.) A: Unfortunately... NO. This is covered in the description above.
    2.) Q: "Is there a Buy It Now Option" or "I don't see a Buy It Now option, but I have an offer of $XXX.00 dollars, will you accept that?"
    2.) A: "Hello! Thank you for your interest, and offer! I honestly really, really, really need to let this item go, as an actual auction, just because of the "as-is" status. Your gracious offer is above what I am actually expecting this to sell for... but there is always that "last minute" craziness that can happen on Ebay. I am offering with the low starting price, at a serious loss... but I also need to leave this as an auction, to see what "the market" is doing. There has been a big swing in used musical items, COVID happened, and now I'm not sure which way that swing is going. I need YOU, the buyer, to tell me that, with actual bids. More importantly: I can't morally (darn those morals!) ask more for an item, which might bring a buyers expectations higher than they should be. If this thing sells for the minimum price, with only one bid... I can sleep well on that financial loss. If someone goes nuts and bids through the roof... that is thier choice...the expectations are on them... and I can sleep well, once again. I am trying to tamp down any unrealistic expectaions, as much as possible... and the "auction only" route seems to be the way to go. Thank you once again, for your offer, and your time!
    3.)Q: "I have zero feedback, and created my account yesterday... why did you cancel my bid?!?!?!"
    3.)A: Beacuse you have no feedback, and created your account yesterday... sorry... I'm not dealing with any fraud, or fake accounts. Sorry if you legitimately want to bid on this... but use a verified account. Thanks!
