    We’re auctioning this VINTAGE CAMPAGNOLO RECORD QUICK RELEASE WHEEL SKEWER SET.
    I was a heavy rider in the early 80s until I got hit by a motor cycle and that put an end to that. (‘Nother story, ‘nother day) I do not specifically recall if these were Record or Super Record but either and they were among the best you could buy.
    One of these is missing a spring. I’d imagine that today a Campy one would be the price of my first car.  I’d also imagine if you are looking at these you probably have extras or know where to find them.
    I’ll admit getting these for the holidays isn’t the same as getting a new Colnago or Bianchi frame but hey, times are tough and we are heading into recession. Still, look for the smile and gleam in the eyes of the person you give it to. (Or, open the box in front of a mirror.)
