Here's a Taylor Grey Whales Signature Model from the 2001 Gallery Series.
The guitar has light play wear and is in very nice, super clean condition with no repaired cracks.
The top has a light indent barely, but it's very clean and well cared for, for a 20 year old acoustic.
This is an incredibly rare Taylor Gallery Series Gray Whales Limited Edition guitar. This is one of the rarest Taylor's made, a very limited run of only 100 guitars (this guitar is #87/100).
The "Gray Whale" guitar (GSGW) is the third entry in the Gallery Series of limited edition Taylor guitars. This model is a Grand Concert guitar that has strikingly figured Ziricote back and sides, as well as a premium-grade Engelmann Spruce top.
A luminous fingerboard inlay portrays two majestic gray whales gliding through subtle, purplish rays of underwater light. The inlaid laser-cut rosewood and mahogany rosette depicts knotted nautical rope coiled around its perimeter and a tall sailing ship drifting into the soundhole.
Each Gallery Series model can be identified by a special, numbered soundhole sticker signed by Bob Taylor.
Collector condition, zero issues, perfect playability.
Comes with the original Taylor hardshell case and original owners paperwork as seen in the pictures.
