    Description

    This is a very desirable VINTAGE, FULLY FUNCTIONAL, classic drum machine from the 1980's (released in 1986), the SIEL MDP-40...also known under other brands as the SUZUKI RPM-40 and the KEYTEK MDR-40.  It was made in Italy, and features 10 pads for 13 PCM sounds, 3 of which are accessible by external MIDI only.  This machine comes with original power supply and owners manual.  The unit itself is a desktop model, has LED display, is lightweight (only 1 kg), will also operate on 6 x AA batteries, and has 3 MIDI ports.  Audio output is via 1/4" phone jack, mono out.  I hate to let this go, but I haven't taken the time to experiment with it in recent years as I had hoped to do, so I'm passing it on.  I envision it to be very useful in live performance situations as a trigger machine MIDI'd to a more modern drum machine with tight, up-to-date drum/percussion sounds.  It will be well packed and shipped UPS GROUND.
