Amazing Find! Where Are You Going To Find Another One???Beautiful "Ritter's VICTORIA SPRINGS, CEDARBURG, WIS." 37 oz. Seltzer Bottle w/ trigger.
Here is a vintage 37 oz. glass seltzer bottle from "Ritter's Victoria Springs" of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. I did
nothing
to clean the bottle as it looked cool to me in the "as found" condition. It is nice, but could benefit from a thorough inside cleaning to make the glass sparkle! No cracks or chips. Trigger moves as it should.
I am not sure of the age, sorry. I tried researching the company but was not very successful. I believe that Ritters beverage/soda company went out of business in the 1970's, but I also believe that this seltzer bottle is much older than that.
I have no idea if this could be refilled and used, but instead, I see this as a stunning, and eye catching historical piece for someone associated with Cedarburg, WI, or Ozaukee County to display in their home or business! I have owned this for several years and even though I am out there in antique stores, flea markets, swap meets, etc. have NEVER seen another one like it. I found nothing like it on Google or eBay.
The glass rod inside looks perfect and on the back of the metal trigger, it states, "WM. RITTER." The bottle and trigger measure about 12" tall and it is about 4" across on the bottom. It is made of VERY heavy and thick glass. I saw no cracks or chips in the glass and the yellow/gold lettering looks great. Very attractive!
Please review the pictures carefully and ask any questions that you might have BEFORE bidding. Thanks!
I took pictures of all sides of the bottle and the top and bottom. I took the pictures outside for best lighting
. In a few of the pictures, the bottle looks dark, it is not, it is clear glass. Perhaps the angle of the sun gave that effect, I don't know, but I do want you to know that the glass is definitely clear, not dark. Also, in pictures #7 and #15, showing the back of the bottle, that is NOT a crack that you see. Apparently, at one time, the bottle must have had liquid in it and it was leaning and the liquid left a mark from sitting there. It is simply a watermark NOT a crack.
Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Ships to USA only.
Will ship USPS Ground Advantage or FedEx, your choice, figured to your zip code. The bottle is relatively heavy and requires significant packing materials to ship it safely. The bottle itself weighs almost 4lbs!
I do NOT mark up shipping nor do I charge a handling fee. I do combine shipping on multiple purchases when possible, but you have to ask.
Local pick up is an option that I highly recommend considering if practical for you.
I give positive feedback after I receive it. That way I know that you are 100% satisfied and that our transaction is complete.
Thanks for your interest, this is a beautiful and historic piece from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, that would display beautifully! Good Luck!
