    Description

    This auction is for a unique find of vintage Mazda and Toyo Kogyo automobilia.
    This comes from the estate sale of a Detroit-based journalist who worked at Crain Communications (publications like Automotive News, AutoWeek, Advertising Age et al) in the 1970s and 1980s time period. He had over fifty three-hole binders on multiple shelves, each filled with clipped magazine articles and reference materials on a specific topic. Our understanding is that he used these as form of a pre-Internet search engine. When he needed to write a piece, he would pull the relevant binders off the shelf and peruse them as research.
    This binder is all about Mazda and its original company, Toyo Kogyo. This binder is 1.75 inches deep and has dividers on various models, specifications, powertrain, styling, comparison, gossip et cetera, each with clipped and stapled articles on the topic.
