Lemon electronic hi hat controller. I bought a few of these from the manufacturer. I bought one to use and theothers to get a shipping discount and to sell. I use a Yamaha DTX module and had to buy a new cable and switch the wires around to make it compatible. I suppose they were wired for Roland and/or Alesis modules. Obviously they look very much like the Goedrum controller but the build quality seems much better. I bought a Goedrum a few years back and while it worked fine the body was made of plastic. This one has a steel bottom and the body appears to be metal also. Or maybe they intended to be a cheaper knockoff of the Roland VH-11 since they used a similar model number.A spin stopper is included that is supposed to fit on your hi hat clutch but it didn't fit mine. Also a small allen wrench for the set screw that secures the spin stopper to your clutch. There is also one small rubber end cap but I have no clue what the purpose is.
Anyway, if you play edrums I'm sure you've heard of this company and their edrum products.
I also bought a couple of 15" 3 zone rides. I was going to use one of those as a hi hat but a 3 zone 15" seems like overkill for an edrum hihat and I plan to go back to using a smaller 2 zone cymbal. I'll keep one of the cymbals as an extra crash and sell the other so if you're in the market for a 3 zone cymbal watch for that.
This will be shipped in the original plain white box inside a larger, well-padded box.
Note: if you use a Yamaha module and don't have the time or inclination to modify the TRS cable or controller wiring I can included a modified cable.
