    Description

    Custom HR-16 with Oberheim DMX and Sequential Drumtracks sounds (Eproms installed). Also has the newest OS firmware
    Version 2.0 B firmware
    This drum machine is so underrated with its 8-bit sounding crunch.
    Its was advertised as a 16bit drum machine in the 80's and the DAC are 16 bit but the sample roms are not which is nice because it has that crunch we all appreciate and love these days.
    The stock sounds on these machines were horrible from the factory. Thankfully though the Eproms were replaceable and with a bit of programming this one has had all the stock sounds replaced with sounds from the Oberheim DMX and Sequential Drumtracks.
    Now it can really shine with the 4 individual outs, powerful sequencer (swing, microtiming) and 16 voice polyphony this is now a classic sleeper of a drum machine.
    Comes with factory Alesis power supply (pictured).
