2021 Collings D3 Custom Rare Alaskan Glacier Blue Spruce / Rosewood & K&K Pickup

Description

This is one spectacular guitar produced in extremely limited quantities by Collings.  They started off the year by introducing a limited run of 6 guitars with a rare sunken/reclaimed Alaskan Blue Spruce.  The mineral deposits seeped into the logs they used and gave the wood a gray/blue hue. They ended up having a few extra tops and built a few more guitars - including this custom D3.
Sounds as good as it looks - think a settled in / opened up Adirondack top. Power and volume for days, but also responds well to a lighter touch.
I received it in late July 2021 and it has sat in its case since then.  I have played it for maybe an hour, but it remains essentially brand new - including a warranty card that hasn't been filled out (yours to register).
