This listing is for a
2003 USA Original Hound Dog Square Neck Dobro Guitar.
Not entirely sure of the year, although its right around there, but it is most definitely a USA made Original Hound Dog.
Excellent condition. Looks like it lived its life in the case. (which is a humidity gauged hard/soft case) Little bit of patina on the spider resonator and thats about all you're going to find for wear.
Killer figuring on the woods, throughout, I believe these were a figured maple in a satin finish if I remember correctly.
Grab this while you can, you don't find these USA models floating around much anymore.

Specs:
The body is made of figured laminated maple. Excellent figuring! The square neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. A Fishman pickups lets you plug in. The spider resonator features a fan coverplate. The hardware is nickel plated for cool vintage looks. The finish is walnut satin lacquer.
