  • Condition: The finish looks right under a blacklight and it has been polished to a nice gloss (even though the finish looks right under blacklight, it is possibly a refin). There is a little bellying behind the bridge (somewhat typical on these older guitars) but there is plenty of saddle to set action however you like.

    Description

    Solid all mahogany construct gives these Martin 17 series a unique voice. A little mellower and more balanced sound than their punchier spruce counterparts. Restored with new bridge and bridgeplate, Golden Age tuners, and a neck reset. The finish looks right under a blacklight and it has been polished to a nice gloss (even though the finish looks right under blacklight, it is possibly a refin). There is a little bellying behind the bridge (somewhat typical on these older guitars) but there is plenty of saddle to set action however you like. Killer sound and a great price.
